Sally and I have decided that its about time that we sat down with our remaining grandparents and write down on paper as much as we can. The best way to get the ball rolling on this is to start a family tree.
This suits me fine, as it helps to tick one of the boxes against my resolutions list and gets we away from the TV (I'm not that bad, honest!).
So as we found out when we sat down with a pad tonight either we're going to need a much bigger pad of paper or a different way of organising the family. Sally's focusing on her side of the family and I'll be doing mine, seems fair that but my lot leads to a very lob-sided tree. Dad is one of 5 kids but Mum is an only child. Only time will tell, and of course a quick trip round the net for some tree software.
So that's one off my list but the 2009 big list of things to do is scarily big. I'm at 20+ items so far and that's just things to do in the garden and office. I'll do a recount when I've gone through the house as well.
Then I just need the time and the money (ha) to do it all.
