No school today and after watching some of the cars failing to get out of the estate I elected to stay at home myself.
No, wait... I work from home, bugger no day off for me.
After listening to RedDragon FM for what seemed like an eternity (I can't do commercial radio anymore) the announcement came out that the kids school was shut for the day. That along with 600 others I hear.
So the kids got dressed up and played out in the garden, whilst I sat in my garage office dreaming up a spec for changes to one of our products. I don't think I'm allowed to tell you what that is sorry. Nothing too hush-hush but we do like to keep secrets at
interchangegroup.com.
I did notice on the BBC (before starting work) that the same woman reporter was left out in the snow again today. Yes, I know she goes inside between reports but they do make it look almost like she's been out there for about 36 hours in the same coat and scarf. (Note: they got someone else involved for the 10'o'clock news, perhaps whilst they defrost that poor woman).
Placeholder: when I get to a PC I'll upload some snowy photos of the kids to flickr.
